Obsidian applies fit-for-purpose execution strategies to meet with the client’s expectations to maximize cost savings and streamline execution.

McMAHON GAS PLANT MOC PROGRAM

Obsidian is currently completing multiple MOC projects at the McMahon Gas Plant and Compressor Station.

MOC projects include control upgrades, process safety improvements, equipment replacements, optimization studies, risk reduction projects, turnaround support, and cross-project efficiency studies.

Implemented fit-for-purpose execution strategy to achieve cost savings and fast-track execution.

ALBERTA GAS FACILITY MOC PROGRAM

Obsidian has executed multiple MOC programs for the past 4 years at three facilities across Alberta:

  • Carbon Facility

  • AB Hub Facility

  • Heartland (Ethane) Facility

The MOC projects include process safety upgrades, optimization, maintenance improvements, efficiency implementation and diagnostic & root cause evaluations.

Achieved cost savings through streamline execution and standardize forms.

NORTH-EAST BC AREA MOC PROGRAM

Obsidian executed multiple MOC projects across North-East BC in five different facilities.

  • North Pine

  • C41F

  • Townsend Facility

  • Townsend Terminal

  • Blair Creek

The MOC projects include production increase, facility optimization. equipment reliability, risk & liability reduction and operational flexibility improvements.

WAPITI GAS PLANT MOC PROGRAM

Obsidian is currently completing several safety critical MOC projects at the Wapiti Gas Plant and Gold Creek Compressor Station.

This includes electrical building relocation, modifications to the acid gas injection compressors and well sites, transient analysis and related modifications to the amine water system, and a newly optimized produced water filter system.
